well... this is another photo I was able to use from Steve

    this is Acrylic paints.. my first proper use of acrylics for pictures... ;-)

here is a quick one from a picture of a duck at a local park the photographer Pete Poulsom was good enough to allow me to paint his capture.. :-)

I was going to do acrylic but settled for watercolor pencils and brush...
   

and then I alterted the base of the neck.... not at all sure about this outcome....

  may do another copy .............
